It is therefore advisable to bring cash to avoid any inconvenience as the nearest ATM is over 6 miles away.

An educational visit to the Camel Park Oasis is both informative and fun. The visit includes participation in a Cuddle-a-Pet session, a Land Train ride and free use of all our play areas, crazy golf and mini maze.
A school or educational visit can also include (free of charge) an interesting talk (20-30 minutes) on the Camel and its relations, covering biology, geography, history and evolution, with an explanation of the Camels use in farming around the world. This touches on the much talked about topic of camel milk and its medicinal qualities and generally making comparisons with other farm animal species.
Alternatively, on request, we are also able to offer a guided tour which is a walk around the park to meet a number of our other animals. On the walk your group will be accompanied by one of our Education Staff, who will introduce your party to a range of the parks inhabitants and ensure that you experience them in a very special way by telling you lots of interesting facts. We will also point out some of the native wildlife present on the park. The walk usually lasts around 30-40 minutes depending on interest. Animals encountered vary depending upon season and animal health and welfare, but may include meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs, donkeys, rheas/emus, wallabies, mara, birds, marmosets and of course the various members of the camel family. This guided walk should be requested upon booking your group/educational visit and is free of charge.
